Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

We deal with media, video, and photography, so we use Photoshop daily.
  • I love that all the programs in the suite communicate with each other.
  • I obviously work especially with layers and masks to post-produce my photos.
  • The price. I preferred it when it was at a fixed cost and not a subscription. Although, now it offers much more.
  • I don't see any other flaws. I have also read other reviews. Well, the learning curve is as high as it is logical for a professional product. And it is logical to require a powerful PC.
  • It communicates perfectly with the other software in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • I always use it in combo with Lightroom and Bridge.
I started using this software 15 years ago. I've tried others, but nobody makes me work as well as Adobe does. By now I have my consolidated workflow.
I have never used the support directly, but I have used the Adobe forum, where Adobe employees have always solved my problems.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

I'm a video maker and photographer, and I don't see an inappropriate scenario for this software. I don't deal strictly with graphics, for that you can work with Photoshop in combination with Illustrator, but for my work as a photographer it does everything. Cut out, hole green screen, and above all, I spend hours retouching my portraits to models, overlapping levels and actions, and going to work on every detail. Adobe Photoshop is some of the most powerful software in the world.

Using Adobe Photoshop

2 - Photography and video production
2 - Computer skills, and desire to learn a not simple software.
  • Post-production portraits
  • Cropping photos
  • Has sped up the workflow.
  • It's also for graphics--not very thorough.
