Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro has changed the way I edit video content. I formerly used Sony Vegas to edit most of my videos and the difference is day and night. I am currently using Premiere Pro to edit most of my promotional videos for my personal training business. This editing software has helped me save so much time just by having a clean timeline and effect control panel itself. Keyframing is also a breeze. I'm glad I took the time to master this video editor because it has made production so much easier.
- Importing media. Importing is as simple as drag and drop.
- Keyframing. This editing task can be completed within the effect control panel, which is convenient being separate from the actual timeline.
- Organization. Keeping media and files neatly organized contributes to an effective and efficient project.
- Compatibility. Premiere Pro is compatible with most common video/picture files.
- Preview playback can be difficult to pre-render at times depending on a larger file.
- A few crashes that ended important projects, although not permanently, due to the software's auto-save feature.
- Slicing without a keyboard shortcut can be difficult or tedious to use, however, there is a shortcut!
- Helped generate some clients and revenue for my side video-editing gig by creating video clips for common social media apps such as Instagram and Facebook.
- Helped me showcase great work that couldn't be done without the software.
- Helped me create video advertisements for my personal training business, which resulted in leads.
Premiere Pro excels in organization, productivity, and design compared to Sony Vegas, which was the software I previously used to create video content. I am now able to render videos faster, edit, and preview unfinished projects quickly and efficiently. I had little to no difficulty using this software to create powerful videos for both myself and my clients.
