Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Premiere Pro

We use Premiere Pro to make instructional videos and product reviews. The videos instruct individuals about the products that our clients are selling. It's an advantage over print media because people can see how a product is used, how it performs etc. This is achieved while a demonstrator is speaking or a voice over is laid over the video clip. We also incorporate text and titles. We can add the clients brand and phone number to individualize the video so that people don't use it on their website or YouTube channel.
  • Premiere Pro is well laid out. The tabs and functionality are user-friendly.
  • Keeping video clips, sound clips, etc organized and cataloged is made simple with Premiere Pro's structure.
  • Editing video is made easy with the tools provided. You can get very precise with isolating segments.
  • The filters that are provided such as transitions and fade-outs with video and audio are helpful.
  • You can use this program and make it as simple as you wish, or you can go into full-scale production and have editing control over all facets.
  • Premiere Pro allows you to be the conductor of a grand symphony of video clips and audio samplings with ease.
  • I think this is more of a user issue when I was first starting with Premiere Pro, but I wish there were sample filter videos to show you the results of each filter's functionality. It was mostly trial and error when I was a new user of the program.
  • When saving the video for the first time, the name of the previous video saved is always left in the naming field. If you aren't paying attention, you end up naming the video incorrectly.
  • I find that for what the program is, what it offers and the potential it can provide, it is very well priced. You can make a professional video or movie for less than $100/month!
These other products are provided to work seamlessly with Premiere Pro. They are used to enhance the overall functionality of the Adobe products. Using these products harmoniously allows you to create amazing effects. Basically, you are only limited by your imagination. I don't think I would recommend anything other than Premiere Pro, it would be like reinventing the wheel.
Premiere Pro can be as simple or complex as you require. Depending on the scale of your project, Premiere can handle anything you throw at it - you just need the hard drive space to accommodate this.

I wish Premiere Pro had more conversion functionality - being able to capture a YouTube video or any video for that matter, and turning it into an MP4 file that you can import into Premiere Pro. I have to rely on 3rd party software to retrieve files from web videos.
