Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Sign

As I am the only employee, it is solely used by myself to send clients an agreement for my services through online means so they don't have to be in-person for my coaching sessions and sign a printed document.

Eliminates paper waste, saves a digital copy for me and my client (in case anything happens to the hard copy), and very convenient to get an agreement signed by anyone, anywhere.
  • It's easy for the client (who doesn't have the program) to easily open, read, and sign online.
  • I like the email updates informing me when it was read and signed.
  • I like the time stamp page for more info on when it was signed for a more detailed legal backing.
  • I find it a bit confusing to get the document ready for adding text fields and such then save for future use, as it usually sends me to immediately sign and saves over the edited document.
  • Would like to see more improvements in preparing the form—better text fields and save for later options with the ability to leave a document pre-signed for quick sends. Seems like a lot of work to get a form ready.
  • Efficient use of time for both me and my clients.
  • Less paper waste and expenses for printing.
  • Overall professional impression.
I reached out a long time ago for instructions on use and it was a pleasant experience. Honestly, I haven't reached out since because it wasn't needed and the updates were improving year after year, so I cannot comment on any current person to person support.
On the user end, to get the pdf form ready, I found it to be confusing on the toolbar section. There are a few options to prepare and sign and I have to keep guessing as to what works best for my situation. I like a prepared, pre-signed form for quick use and just date it before sending it out for their signature. Also, it saves over my prepared form which leads me to re-doing it. Overall, once I get into what I need, it looks professional and sends out very nicely. The ease of use for my client end is great.
As I mentioned before, as a sole proprietor in the coaching industry, it becomes a lifesaver. The legal details it provides when signed prepare me for any future disputes. The efficiency creates a quick, no-stress way to collect signatures, and saves on paper waste as well as printing expenses. Clients see it as professional and save them time just as much.

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat Sign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat Sign again?

Yes

I didn't like the features and pricing of DocuSign. Didn't provide as much details as well. The setup was easier though.
I believe that if you work as a freelance professional and require clients to sign contracts or agreements then this is the program for you. I have had clients young and old, internet-savvy, and not, use this signing feature. If you need clients to sign ahead of time or after a meeting, this saves so much time and leaves a digital paper trail. When in this business, especially if you are a small to independent company with very little funds to use for fancy programs and lawyers, this becomes a lifesaver.
