Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

ADP Workforce Now is our HRIS, benefits administration, timekeeping and payroll processing system. It is used by all of our employees and administratively by our three-person HR team.
  • It's user-friendly for both practitioners and users (employees).
  • The portal is highly customizeable.
  • For large groups, the carrier connections are reliable.
  • Customer service experiences are inconsistent - departments are very disconnected from each other and wait times are VERY long usually.
  • Custom reporting is not intuitive. The TotalSource reporting module is MUCH better.
  • It's saved our HR team time and efficiency
  • I think its professional look is a factor in retention, though we have not measured its impact
  • iBenEnrolled and Paychex
ADP Workforce Now tends to be the most robust, but also most expensive among similar HR platforms I've reviewed.
Larger organizations can better utilize all that ADP Workforce Now has to offer - from both a cost standpoint and functionality. I've used it on both ends of the spectrum and as a small group, you pay monthly minimum fees versus per person on several features and you cannot take advantage of carrier connections (due to carrier limitations, not ADP limitations) which makes it tough to leverage the open enrollment and benefits portals, which are awesome within Workforce Now.
