Bluegrass Festival production using Airtable
Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
Our initial use of Airtable will be to help us produce a Bluegrass Festival which is run as a fundraiser for my nonprofit organization. We also intend to incorporate it into the management of the actual organization itself. Its ease of use is something that directly appealed to us about the program.
Pros
- Table construction, design, and layout are the major factor in our deciding to go with Airtable.
- The intuitive nature of the program is very self-evident when starting out with Airtable .
- The ability to share information with multiple users and devices is a distinct plus for us.
Cons
- While we are just starting out with Airtable, I would say that it would helpful if there was a greater ability to design and produce printed reports.
- While we have not yet used Airtable in a live environment, our testing of the program so far has been most encouraging and impressive. Assuming that we are able to implement our "ideas" effectively, I would say that it will have a major positive impact on our business objectives and plans.
In a shared environment, I would definitely rank Airtable ahead of both Google Docs as well as MS Office both in terms of the learning curve and the ability to design and implement real-world solutions without having to resort to hiring (or being) a programmer. If you tend to make and use a lot of spreadsheets as a management tool, Airtable would be a most worth alternative.
