Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
We have implemented Airtable as a solution for a specific program we manage within our organization. The program spans all departments with a heavy amount of data to be collected. Prior to Airtable implementation, these were all disparate data sources without a common platform to tie them together.
Pros
- Linking contacts and other information back to organizations.
- Clean interface with familiar spreadsheet views.
- Allows collaboration across teams.
Cons
- Ability to link on a numerical ID vs. free text
- Ability to confine editing abilities to a particular sheet within a base
- More flexibility/customization in user permissions
- Ability to group and subgroup views in a hierarchy for sheets.
- Airtable saves time, everything is in one place.
- Airtable is easy to learn, so there is not a lot of lost time learning a new interface for staff.
- Airtable is all inclusive cost wise-there are not additional development, implementation, consulting fees etc.
The Airtable interface is easier to use and more intuitive with less cumbersome development.
