Overall Satisfaction with Amazon Web Services

Amazon Web Services are basically used to host infrastructure in cloud.
In our organization cloud is future solution , therefore all the applications has been asked to moved to cloud and design the applications according to services provided by them.
S3 buckets , RDS and Autoscaling various services are used extensively.
This is addressing the datacenter cost issue.

Pros

  • Auto Scaling feature
  • S3 Buckets
  • Elastic load balancer

Cons

  • Cost things need to be fixed
  • Availability of different zones in different regions
  • More robust features need to be added
  • Fixed cost of Datacenter is getting decreased.
  • Negative impact is paying of few services on basis of hits such as lambda function which is not good.
  • Proving new features which can be used immediately
Amazon Web Services is one of largest cloud infrastructure and provide various features which is helping developers and engineers to build an application according to changing customer needs and providing high availability.
Organization need to worry about fixed cost of datacenter and can pay as per usage. Amazon Web Services engineers are always there if application have some new requirement of some features.
We tried various other cloud providers and features provided by them.
Many of the cloud providers have similar features but there are few factors which make Amazon Web Services cloud as preferable choice of our bank are cost, location of Amazon Web Services datacenter where it is required and acceptance by the engineers

In hosting particular application where load increase and deceases with time period , then Amazon Web Services provides best features such Elastic load balancer and Auto scaling feature to deal with it.
Another very good feature is S3 buckets where we can store any type of object and that will be available globally through web and can be encrypted also.
