Overall Satisfaction with AnyDesk
We use it as a secondary remote desktop tool. If our primary remote tool has an issue, then we will use AnyDesk to make the connection. I am the only user of AnyDesk in our company, and I only use it occasionally.
Pros
- Connections to remote machines is fairly smooth.
- Keeping an address book of remote connections.
- Works well with Windows UAC.
Cons
- Licensing, their new structure is too expensive.
- Getting a tabbed view to work in Windows.
- It used to be affordable for our use case of occasional remote connections.
- It is easy to get connected to remote devices.
- Working remotely from my office it helps being able to get to remote machines quickly.
It is easier to use and is less costly. I haven't checked the pricing recently, but since I started with AnyDesk, they have tripled their prices. Compared to the Turbo meeting, there is no device to set up or maintain, and AnyDesk address book is easier to use to maintain connections.
