Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

We use Apollo and the sales team to reach prospects and add them to certain workflows and cadences. Apollo helps determine who's who within the organization and lets us stay on top of outbound prospects. We also utilize Apollo with current opportunities by ensuring we multi-thread the right individuals in the organization.

Pros

  • Sequences.
  • Finding the right people.
  • Creating opportunity reach outs to companies.

Cons

  • More verified emails - with my personas, they don't use emails often.
  • On top of that, contact details. Some of these individuals are hard to find on the internet.
  • Sometimes hard to use.
  • Saves us a lot of time with our sequences.
  • When the contacts are verified, they are great to reach out to.
  • Plenty of features so a lot in the tool kit if needed.
Once everything is set up, the usability is great. A lot can be done, so implementation and getting started are a bit daunting. On the front end, our SDRs/BDRs love it. They have no complaints. It's great for them to add leads into campaigns and sequences to ensure they stay on top of their leads.
Apollo has many more features and seems to have a better database of prospects. From what I gather, LeadIQ uses only LinkedIn as its database. LeadIQ also leans heavily on Gong to provide certain workflows. There are not enough features provided with LeadIQ, hence why Apollo is a much better tool.

It's a great tool for reaching out to our inbound and prospecting leads. This tool helps us run campaigns and provides us with some great analytics. The cadences and sequences help with day-to-day tasks. Whenever we have a verified contact, it works great. This also integrates well with our Salesforce.
