Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

Apollo.io helps is in lead generation, email outreach. It helps streamline our sales process. It helps us find people who we are targeting early stage startups and pre series startups so that we can sell our software services to them. The platform kinda works like a all in one tool.

Pros

  • Lead data sourcing is accurate and detailed which saves manual research effort
  • search filters can be very specific which also helps filter down people.
  • prospecting and outreach in one is a good value add and then we dont need to jump multile platforms

Cons

  • non US research can be bit inaccurate at times with wrong phone numbers or emails there should be an expiry on this information
  • more workflow automations when it comes to sending emails so that we can create more complex email workflows for advanced users.
  • Spaces like they have in JIRA so that it can be shared with teams and you can have buckets of lists.
  • lead generation has become faster so it helps us cover more people in less time
  • we haven't gotten a lot of discovery calls yet but that is just because of our niche
  • also helps us explore other verticals in our business and to see what else can we target so that we can get business.
Apollo.io’s all-in-one setup has honestly made things a lot smoother for us. Earlier we used to jump between different tools for prospecting, outreach, and tracking, and it was messy. Now everything’s in one place we can find leads, send sequences, and see engagement right there. It saves a ton of time and reduces those small mistakes that happen when switching tools. I’d say it’s easily made our outbound process at least 40–50% more efficient. Plus, it’s just simpler to train new people they get up to speed much faster. Overall, it’s made our sales workflow way more organized and less stressful.
We used to manually look up leads on LinkedIn, find emails, and then write messages one by one. Now it’s all just there. The AI suggestions for messages are actually pretty decent and help us get started fast. We can build a lead list, personalize the first touch, and schedule follow-ups in under an hour something that used to take a whole day before. The automatic reminders and email sequences also mean we don’t have to keep track of who to follow up with manually. Overall, I’d say Apollo.io easily cuts our prospecting and outreach time by half, maybe more on busy weeks.
I’d give Apollo.io a 9 because it’s honestly one of the easiest tools to get started with once you spend a bit of time on it. The layout makes sense, everything from finding leads to sending emails is in one flow, and the learning curve isn’t bad at all. It just saves so much time.
ZoomInfo had great data but the price was insane for what we needed. Lusha was cheaper but too limited we still had to use other tools for outreach and tracking. Apollo.io basically gave us the best of all products good data, built-in sequences, CRM sync, and automation all in one place. It’s easy to use, affordable, and covers everything we need for outbound.

If you want to reach out to very specific people and you have a small marketing and sales team then this tool will help you a lot. It is good for email campaigns and automations that we need for followups. The only problem is non US data can be outdated.
