Articulate 360 - A MUST for Anyone in Training
Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
As a small instructional design company creating training for clients, Articulate 360 is a crucial part of our tech stack. We primarily use Storyline for the robust and custom options it offers. Occasionally we use Rise for internal training - nothing beats that speed!
Pros
- The depth of customization available is stunning, especially if you add custom coding to your work.
- Triggers and layers are well-organized in the interface and easy for new users to understand.
- The built in image library is surprisingly vast!
Cons
- A minor thing, but I wish the default when I click "Preview" was to preview the slide I just worked on - versus the default being scene or entire course preview.
- Being able to customize default slide numbers would be helpful, versus setting them for each project.
- We couldn't provide custom training for our clients without Articulate 360. A training design company without an Articulate 360 subscription is a fish without water.
We don't use Reach, and are only beginning to experiment with AI Assistant. Our workflow between Storyline and Review is the lifeblood of the company - we use that product to collect all client feedback, and now we can "resolve" client clients directly in Storyline - an incredible feature. Occasionally we will create content in Storyline that we import into Rise, but typically we use Rise on its own.
We have not used it a lot. So far, we are impressed with the Assistant's ability to restate our text in a more casual manner, and to shorten blocks of text that might be too wordy.
