Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
We develop our own compliance content for employees to take in order to become active employees, as well as annually recertify. Using off-the-shelf solutions wasn't working for us, so we decided to move all content development in-house and use Storyline to develop SCORM files that we could upload into an LMS. Our learners are actually not very tech savvy, so Storyline allows us to have complete control over button size, voiceovers, navigation that is easy to use and not distracting.
Pros
- Branch scenarios
- Slide-based content
- Importing templates
Cons
- Handling languages with special characters or that are right-to-left text like Arabic. Not all functions seem to support this, or it causes additional issues (e.g. video captions not accepting right to left punctuation)
- Speed of content creation has increased
- Custom content allows us to meet our learners at their reading level
- Learners are able to get through courses faster and with less technical obstacles
We use Storyline to develop and Review 360 to get feedback from our internal project team. As the content developer, I LOVE being able to get comments directly attached to particular content so I know where they're referring to.
I have not yet used the AI Assistant because our license apparently does not include this.
Mostly because this was the license my company had. Captivate is very similar tool. I don't know that I would consider one better or worse than the other.
