Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I use Articulate to generate interactive training modules. We address Safety, HR, and internal scopes. Our scope varies for each case. For instance, we just completed a course on defensive driving. Articulate allows me to generate high-quality interactive SCORM-compliant training. In this case, our company was in need of driving training that would be memorable. Articulate allowed me to generate high-quality videos that can be interactive as well.

Pros

  • I would love to see Articulate release a Mac version.
  • Enhanced customizable animations.
  • Adding more characters to the asset library would be beneficial.

I currently use Storyline 360 for customized interactive training modules. Using this option is my favorite as it gives me full control. I use Rise 360 when I need to get simple modules out quickly. The interface is very user-friendly and makes short work of module development. I use Review 360 when my projects are ready for SME approval. Being able to allow them to run through the project without having to upload to a separate software streamlines the approval process.
Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to work with the AI assistant. I am intrigued to see how well it can work for us. As with any AI, putting the correct information in will produce better results. This is a feature that will be helpful in the future. Due to tight deadlines and project backlog, I am unable to test it fully.
I rate Articulate 360's usability at a 10 because. First, the UI is easy to understand. I don't spend precious time searching for the right tool. The UI is laid out beautifully and simple. If there is hidden features, I have not needed them or looked for them. In my opinion, anyone used to working with software will have no trouble using Articulate.
I began developing training modules using Adobe Captivate, mostly for the price and availability on a Mac. I am a certified Adobe Captivate Professional. Switching to Articulate was the best choice we have ever made. The software is stable and a breeze to use. Captivate has been unstable for all the versions I used. Their UI is difficult at best and impossible when a deadline looms. Articulate blows them away!!!

Articulate provides for simple, custom interactive training modules. There isn't much wrong with this software that I have found. Using Rise 360 for quick turnaround or fully customized training with Storyline 360. Articulate has made the possibilities limited only to my imagination. Their simple and well-thought-out toolbars make starting from scratch a breeze.
