Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We are a higher education organization and we create lesson modules and interactive learning objects using Storyline and Rise.
We have issues keeping students’ attention and engagement, as well as keeping contents relevant and updated so their learning is more meaningful. Articulate products help us design learning contents beautiful and eye-catching. It also helps us with review process to make sure what we are presenting align with their learning objectives.

Pros

Cons

  • Storyline is great but it only works in PC. That has been a long standing feature request which I think keeps getting ignored.
  • Customizability in Rise is still limited, though improving a lot.
  • Reach 360’s pricing is very strange and is hard to gage how much it would cost.

  • supporting test scores improvement.
We use Rise and Storyline regularly. We also use Review 360 while we develop our modules. We don’t have subscriptions for AI Assistant.
I think AI helps us with getting a quick start on things, but we still need to review and make sure we are not presenting untrue or irrelevant content, and provider credible sources. That aspect still needs improvement as AI tends to make things up.
I am impressed that whenever I find an issue with any of the tools I can google the problems and find solutions or workaround to it. It’s cool to see how users help each other as well as their own support staff engaging with users.
I think the software UI is very intuitive and in general error free.
We use some of the other ones too, but Articulate suite seems to be most comprehensive and nicely packaged. Also, multiple people working together is a lot easier with Articulate.

I think as a learning professional it is a standard set of tools you should know how to use. Learning curve is not very steep so I would recommend anybody to try using them. I’ve been consulted about Articulate tools by my colleagues in different departments in number of occasions and everybody is impressed with all the capabilities they offer. I only hope they keep evolving and keep getting better so we can keep recommending them to more learning professionals.
