Overall Satisfaction with Autodesk Build

Autodesk Build is the home of all our files and BIM sheets. Constant site monitoring reports are used on the build page such as forms, meetings, reports, sheets, schedule, files, and photos. Autodesk Build allows us to have all of our files for specific project, all easily accessible in one online cloud platform.

Pros

Cons

  • Files, making the files system easier to navigate and find files.
  • More ability to alter meeting templates to be used in multiple ways.
  • The sheets tool - has a hard time loading large sheet packages, and scrolling between sheets or files is not possible making review online harder then downloading a pdf.
  • Autodesk Build increases time saved on modest tasks
  • Allows workers to focus on larger tasks now that admin work can be sorted out by Autodesk Build
  • Autodesk Build allows us to manage more projects and increase work load without increasing employees
Hard to get the hang of this software, but with time it become very repetitive and easier to navigate. I have used this software for over a year now and the constant updates by Autodesk have made the software better and better to use at work. This allows me to use this tool more effectively.
I have only used Autodesk Build at work. Compared to Procore which I have recently been introduced to, Autodesk Build has a more modern look and accessibility features. I can not give an in-depth review between the two products as I do not spend a lot of time using Procore.

Well suited for managing multiple trades working on one project. Autodesk Build works great for working with larger companies who have used this software before. Smaller companies have a harder time learning the software and using online cloud services and prefer to not use the cloud collaboration services that are provided by Autodesk.
