Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Automox to patch our end user machines as well as our servers. Automox helps keep our infrastructure up to date with minimal effort after initial setup. It makes it almost effortless to patch in bulk, especially if an emergency patch is needed from Microsoft or a third party.

We weren't used to using something so easy and effortless. After the initial setup of Automox, the patching is very much hands off as you rely on your groups and policies to handle the patching. It saves a lot of time and you can rely on reporting to view successful patches and any errors.

Once the patch policies and groups are configured, it's very much hands off and you can let the tool do the work. You'll save a lot of time and cost by having things so automated.

I definitely think it's good for an organization of any size. After you get policies and groups configured in the initial setup, it is very much hands off. The reporting is very helpful so you can see what machines/servers have patched and what didn't. The main dashboard is also helpful so you can see what the metrics are across your organization.
