Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm Sysadmin and I use Automox to be sure that computers are always up to date and we use some policies in order to have secured laptops.
We also are able to check installed software.
We need some specific configuration for some laptops and we can easily deploy the config online.

It could be nice if Automox was able to deploy OS

Everything can be done remotely
We have very small but controlled team

Patching

We are able to apply Day One patches and some policies that affect only to some inventory groups.

Usability

Automox is able to manage several things.
In our opinion, one place to manage everything is what we are looking for. It prevent to have different tools to make the same thing and cheaper.

We are able to see if our laptops are up and running. We can check the software installed on our computers and be sure that there are not allowed software. We can apply some policies to laptops of our inventory and manage through groups. In our opinion is a great tool. That's the reason why we use Automox.
