Overall Satisfaction with Avalara
We are using it for our service and repair and maintenance billings. We had issues with jurisdictions and tax rates before implementation. We are now able to report in the appropriate tax jurisdictions and no longer have to manually update tax rates.
- Very easy to use, love the integration between CertCapture and our ERP system.
- Reconciliation reports are easy to run and easy to understand.
- Like the ability to edit transactions on the console.
- I would like to see some changes to the reports. It would be nice to see a report that can give me all jurisdictions by invoice in a linear fashion, not one where I have to run pivot tables and export several different reports to get results.
- It seems like the customer service center is reading from a script when I call. Not always very helpful in providing a solution.
- We service stores that are not always on a postal carrier route, so there is no valid USPS address. This causes the transactions to improperly tax. With 15,000 invoices a month, it is impossible for me to correct these before the commit.
- We are now taxing in the appropriate jurisdictions which is an absolute plus.
- Haven't seen an impact on ROI yet - too soon.
- I no longer have to manually update and input tax rates and tax schedules on each new customer. A complete time saver!!
- Our ERP integration with KEY2ACT was difficult - the KEY2ACT connector has a lot of room for improvement.
We use CertCapture and I really like the product.
