Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL
We have a two-fold relationship We are customers as well as suppliers As a supplier we mainly work with the Dubai office - great relationship. As a customer, we work around the world. In Hong Kong, there is a great office In the UK the office is OK In the US we are very disappointed After replying to this survey, you have reinforced my feeling that AVI-SPL has leaps and is bound to improve. The survey portrays that AVI-SPL has a product that it sells. To the best of my experience, AVI-SPL is an AV systems integrator 9Just like my company, Malcolm). They take off-the-shelf hardware and software and provide a working A/V solution (Conference room, auditorium, etc...). It appears that whoever hired you either did not review the questionnaire or is not familiar with the company. On the other hand, for the benefit of the doubt, perhaps I am only familiar with a certain aspect f the company's offering.
- In Dubai we have a 24X7 relationship we can always call and get a reply - we have established a good working relationship to reach the common goal of securing a PO.
- In Hong Kong, we feel that the office goes the extra mile to provide a solution and does not try and add costs for every tiny request. In general, the pricing is also realistic.
- In the USA and the UK the turnaround to our requests takes weeks
- The US has a poor attitude in relation to our knowledge and expertise
- Pricing both in the US and the UK and Germany are very high with huge profit margins
- It does not appear that the US UK and German offices are interested in our business
- It appears that AVI-SPL has to develop a business model of working with System Integrators who is the customer, rather than the end-user being the customer.
- As Magalcom are A/V system integrators and not end customers this question is less relevant
- When being your local system integrator in Israel - it would be helpful if we were brought into the loop at a much earlier stage
