Overall Satisfaction with BambooHR®

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BambooHR as our HRIS. We employee about 200 staff. Has good functionality for timesheet tracking and housing employee records. System is very user friendly.
One drawback to the system is reporting features are not as customizable as they could be.

Cons

Customer service has decreased since the company has grown/since we started with them.
Reporting features are lacking / not very customizable to needs
Some system settings that cannot be changed do not make a lot of sense for most companies' Human Resource needs.
The recent update to system's appearance is not visually appealing, wastes valuable screen space and makes finding/navigating to some features more clicks than necessary. Feels like a step back instead of an improvement.

Easy to use, most recent update seemed to actually detract from the experience as opposed to enhancing it.

Recent customer support has been incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. No real solutions are offered.

BambooHR Reporting

The reporting features are lacking and not very robust. Customers are given a narrow field of standardized reports, some of which cannot be tailored or filtered to fit your specific business needs. Some reports provided are helpful, but I feel this is an area which could be improved.

Kronos Workforce Dimensions / UKG Dimensions (discontinued), Other Perspectives, ADP Enterprise HR and Workday Human Capital Management

Provided the tolls we needed at a price point we could afford as a non-profit.

Likelihood to Recommend

Our organization is a non-profit, so we recognize our needs might be somewhat different. The system is a great base-level system that meets many HR requirements. When we first onboarded with Bamboo, the customer service was incredible and personal. We felt like we were valued clients. More recently, when we face issues or ask questions, we are met apathy and an attitude of, "Sorry, It is what it is..." With so many individualized fields, you would think reporting would be easier, but some of the fields you might want to run a report on are not included in the selection options.
