Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
We use BigCommerce across our whole organization as the home for our signature products.
- Easy integration with Quickbooks - All of our online sales from BigCommerce export seamlessly into our financial software.
- Migration was very smooth. The support team spent as much time as needed to resolve any issues we experienced.
- Simple to use platform layout - An intuitive interface to get the daily tasks done efficiently.
- Would like to see some improvements in the wholesale management area. Fortunately, the support offered effective workarounds to accomplish what was needed.
- Ability to turn off/disable view a new product from the home page. Again more of the 1st issue. If I add a new wholesale item it will populate in the homepage new item category and general customers can see it. Because of this, had to disable the New item Feature all together to avoid confusion.
- We have seen a substantial increase (148%) of orders since migrating to BigCommerce.
- Our AOV has also seen an incredible increase due to the ability to upsell accessories on each listing by utilizing the Option Sets.

BigCommerce has a robust selection of add on features available through their app store to assist us with creating a tailored online experience for our visitors and returning customers. We found an extremely helpful SEO app that scored our existing data (which was failing miserably) and helped educate us on being efficient with targeted product titles/descriptions. As a result, we are experiencing a higher click-thru and conversion rate.
We started our online quest with PrestaShop many years ago. As a small startup then, Free had an amazing sound to it. It served its useful purpose but was held together with bubblegum and duct tape. The included functionality was always buggy and we needed to pay a coder to fix problems as they arose which seemed to be every week. My only regret was not migrating out of PrestaShop 5 years earlier but the pain endured through that experience makes us appreciate how simple and effective BigCommerce has been for us.
