Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce
BigCommerce is our platform for the ecommerce portion of our business. Our entire website is hosted on it but are currently in development to use the integration to WordPress so we can get better flexibility with landing pages, forms, and other content pages that are not product specific. The basis of the site is to inform our customers about our products and allow them to purchase online versus having to call in their order.
- Creating pages and categories is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Much easier than other platforms I've used.
- Good user experience for our customers - easy to checkout.
- Easy integrations with other platforms to streamline the customer experience
- Very limited in creating coupon codes or cart-level discounts. I don't have ability to create multi-level options.
- Blog page is very lacking and not at all up to current standards. The template should be set up to mimic a platform like WordPress.
- No ability to create private landing pages that can be used for a campaign.
- No ability to create forms. I have to use a third-party site and integrate it with the current site.
- Attract site visitors
- Provide information for our customers
$100,000 to $500,000
Our current site is still on the Blueprint platform but we are just about ready to launch an updated site with the Wordpress integration. It is very convenient that I'm also able to integration with Constant Contact and Avalara Tax. I'm not currently using much else for integrations but would like to explore more with that once we're upgraded to Stencil.
BigCommerce is so much easier to use than Magento or Drupal. We have another website I'm managing through a recent acquisition that uses Magento and Drupal. It is so complex and difficult to navigate that I need a developer to help me create the product pages. I am not a developer and find it very easy to use BigCommerce.
