Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud eTapestry
We are a fairly small non-profit and use Blackbaud eTapestry to manage our database of donors and other stakeholders. This includes CRM functions such as tracking pledges and donations, accepting online donations using the built-in DIY forms, issuing tax receipts and thank-you letters, managing relationships, moves management, tracking fundraising campaigns, financial reconciliation, running queries and reports and sending mass emails. It is currently the only CRM our organization uses.

- I would like to see more customization options for DIY forms
- I would like to see more mobile-friendly options for e-mail communications (e.g., thank-you letters)

- Great ROI -- the software is cost-effective and has allowed us to automate many of our administrative processes.
- Lower communications costs -- sending "e-blasts" is free no matter how large your mailing list is.
We found the Salesforce CMS to be much less user-friendly and had a steeper learning curve. It also came with a lot of fields built-in that were not applicable to us, which confused the data. This is not surprising as Salesforce was not specifically developed for non-profits, while Blackbaud eTapestry is.
