Simple user's experience of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
We use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT as our CRM to track all of our charitable giving, which accounts for 75% of our income. We also use it to record the involvement of our students (primary consumers). It is primarily used as an accounting tool for our revenue and also has been helpful in segmenting our data to structure appeals. The data is also helpful in determining to ask amounts for increases. We currently have about 800 constituents but are actively trying to increase it.
Pros
- Tracking giving and comparing it to years previous
- Separating giving by appeals, campaigns, and funds to show the sources of income
- Provide information when a gift fails
Cons
- The email template could be more sleek, higher tech, etc
- Adding an automatic campaign for those using donation forms
- There is a weird difference between "registrations" and "guests" at events. I can set a registration limit but not a guest limit
- Processing Donations
- Event Registration
- Exporting mailing lists
- We have saved time by consolidating fundraising into a single system
- Provided consistency with having all our constituents in one place, with no fear of losing the database
- Decreased extraneous spending by using deceased finder and address finder
Honestly, I don't know that I've used those features enough to actually be able to have it impact my fundraising process.
- No Training
