Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

I use many of the Tiles (Notes, Contact Info, etc.) to store and manage information on our donors and prospects. I also use the Lists feature to create various prospect spreadsheets. For example, the Actions List helps me know who our DoDs are keeping in touch with and when they are not doing so.

Pros

  • Downloading and exporting List results
  • Having a place to store a prospect's social media footprint (online presence)
  • Customer service in various methods, phone or chat

Cons

  • Better and clearer definitions of the Ratings phrases, e,g. Estimated Wealth Rating value, what is that exactly?
  • The ability to pull more detailed Lists regarding past DoDs, instead of having to rely on RE for those
  • Lists
  • Notes
  • Actions
  • Actually, when coupled with ResearchPoint one is able to uncover buried prospects worth assigning.
  • Online Training
I was not working at my present institution when the NXT training was done. I had come from a university where I had used NXT previously so I did not take any training.

Yes

It's rather intuitive and easy for DoDs to navigate.
