Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Raiser's Edge NXT is the CRM we use to manage our donors and other constituents and donor relationships. We record all donor information, gift information, and staff interactions and use them to drive fundraising strategy.

  • Portfolio management
  • Many fields are still not available in web view
  • Web view does not integrate with Luminate Online, so certain web view functionalities are unusable
  • Web view batches do not have enough fields for us to be able to process any donations in web view
  • Mobile friendly
  • Easy to use
  • All info in one place
  • The ease of use in web view has made it easier for fundraisers to record regular information in donor records
We are still working through the analytics features to support our objectives. There are many limitations in how the information can be segmented, which poses problems in providing accurate information that matches information from other sources (or database view)

I have been a Raiser's Edge user since 2008 and a NXT user since Sept. 2020. NXT's added web view is great (though limited) for fundraisers. However my team (who processes all monetary donations and all donation-related financial reports & analytics), still primarily uses database view, which is exactly like the old Raiser's Edge 7 we used before upgrading.

NXT, with both web view and database view, is a robust CRM for non-profit donor management. It is especially great for fundraisers. Web view is much more user-friendly than the database view, but web view still poses many limitations, so for reporting and detailed lists, etc. the database view is the only option to use (which is basically the same as RE 7).
