Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

We used BlackLine for over 4 years, first used BlackLine for account reconciliation, then matching, task management and journal entries. Matching is a very powerful tools that we can finish bank reconciliation within 1 hour. We are looking to expand more modules in next year, such as variance, amortization and AR automations.
  • Matching for bank reconciliation.
  • Auto journal entries.
  • Account reconciliation.
  • Account reconciliation - It would be nice to track all the changes that reviewer made inside of BL instead of rejecting supporting document back to preparer.
  • I have multiple roles in BlackLine, but my main role is reviewer. However, every time I logged in BlackLine, it goes back to preparer, and I needed to change my role.
  • Matching
  • Account reconcilation
  • Task management
  • Positive - Increased ROI.
  • Negative - journal entry not sync back to NetSuite.
BlackLine has more internal control and matching module stands out.
