Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
We're a team of 6 people across 3 offices in the US. We have meetings twice a week -- 2 hour meeting on Mondays and 30 mins to 1 hour meeting on Wednesdays -- and we use BlueJeans as our primary conference tool. The tool is used across our entire organization for these meetings, but is also used by various partners to set up meetings with potential customers (investment opportunities) outside the organization. Because it is a tool that powers important conversation (and visual connectivity) as well as represents the quality of our firm when on calls with external parties, the performance of BlueJeans is crucial to the quality of our conversations.
Pros
- Call in / video / conference options -- our team prefers to use video for internal meetings, but many of us are on the go throughout the week; the dial in option is a huge help.
- Different view options - can minimize people or do side by sides.
- capability to connect to computer audio, tv audio, speaker audio, etc.
Cons
- The picture / sound quality is a challenge for us. We often have connectivity issues where we can hear every other word.
- Would be cool if BlueJeans had a slack integration or scheduling integrations.
- The meeting id / pin is SO long.
- More face to face time with our remote team members.
- UberConference, Join.me, GoToMeeting, Cisco AS5800 Series, Cisco WebEx Room Series (formerly Cisco Spark Room Series), Cisco WebEx Teams (formerly Cisco Spark), Jamf Pro and Jamf Now
Honestly, we're looking at other alternatives at this time because the audio quality has been extremely frustrating and the pictures / video has been highly pixelated. Our Managing Partner has a huge issue with conference calls that don't work well, and lately I remember more negative BlueJeans calls than positive ones. The reason why we initially chose BlueJeans was because it offered one of the better video products. I can't say / verify this is still true.
