Overall Satisfaction with Box

I have found Box to be a highly useful file-sharing tool. It has enabled many users and departments access to shared files without concerns about files size or compression. The ability to exchange links has proven to be very useful as large attachments no longer clog up my inbox. Furthermore, the ability to edit files in the cloud rather than having to download them is also very useful.

  • Accessability
  • File sharing
  • very occasional outages
  • publicly accessible links
  • Increased collaboration
  • More efficient - no more downloading files and re-naming them

Do you think Box delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Box's feature set?

Yes

Did Box live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Box go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Box again?

Yes

Simply put, having unlimited file storage is a clear differentiator. Furthermore, the number of integrations offered by Box is simply unmatched. If you are looking for pure document and file sharing, I don't think there is a better product on the market. The benefits from collaboration alone should pay for the product.
I would recommend Box for any organization that requires collaboration on large documents, requires lots of storage, and does not have Microsoft Teams. Slack and Google Workspace offer sub-par alternatives for file sharing in my opinion. The unlimited storage element is a key differentiator. Teams that currently email documents back and forth would realize the largest benefits.
