Overall Satisfaction with Braze

we use Braze for marketing to our existing members and to drive repeat behavior and retention

Pros

  • customer journeys
  • email, sms, push
  • drag & drop email creation

Cons

  • understanding why campaigns/canvases don't send
  • troubleshooting setup/qa/test sending groups
  • better landing page drag & drop designs
  • decreased costs for creative and design resources
  • reduced dependency on paid media/channels
  • increased frequency for existing customers, increasing LTV
I was able to self-teach so it's easy enough but it has a lot of features that we still haven't tapped into and some of the specific nuances of setting up canvases, segments, extensions, etc require a learning curve and reading documentation

Braze is really well suited for coordinating communications with existing customers and across variety of channels. it's useful to marketers and those with not as many creative resources available. it's less appropriate if you don't have a large user base and/or don't have it integrated across touchpoints (web, apps, etc).
