Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
I have used BrowserStack both at TIAA and Fidelity in the last 3 years. The major use-case that BrowserStack addressed for us was that when our organizational needs for Cross-Devices testing in Android and Apple native Mobile applications scaled rapidly, we were able to save costs by avoiding actual devices purchases like the latest Ipads, Iphones, etc. to test our mobile native applications.
Instead, BrowserStack provided us with many cloud devices such as Motorola, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Apple phones which we were able to run within one browser window. The ability to run on many combinations of OSs and Browsers on multiple devices makes it easy to get the test coverage required without the overhead of having to spin up simulators for each device. Our use case was primarily to have sufficient test coverage for our mobile application across a range of real-world popular mobile devices.

Pros
- BrowserStack is a perfect replacement for Selenium grid and it saves a lot of developer time required for setting up master and slave machines and constant troubleshooting.
- Device coverage across Android and Apple ecosystem is more than suffcient.
- Technical Support teams are quick to provide concise and on-time replies for the issues raised.
Cons
- Pricing is a bit steep for early stage organizations.
- iOS Crash logs are not accessible/extractable outside the platform.
- Enterprise applications that have a need for valid certifications and have another detailed security mechanism, don't work properly without an Enterprise plan.
- Parallel Execution Capabilities
- Cross Devices testing
- High availability of a range of devices across timezones
- ROI : Close to 120% ROI delivered in about 1.5 years
- Saved QA Execution Time: By around 500+ hours in last 1.5 Years
