Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack
We write and design websites for tech companies. While there are many free tools to test website responsiveness, nothing comes close to BrowserStack for this purpose. It allows us to test our websites in virtual environments as well as real devices in no time. Clients get pixel-perfect websites, no matter the device/browser config of their visitors.
Pros
- Provides virtual and real device farms for web testing
- Allows to choose between difference devices and browser versions
- Lets us run automated website checks without writing code
Cons
- Session timeout feels a but aggressive at times
- Can be slow to roll out the latest OS and browser versions
- Real device and browser farms
- Automating website testing flows
- Sharing with others for transparency
- Saves us countless hours by streamlining website testing
- Automates basic web testing without requiring dev work
There was no way to ensure a website works across most of the devices out there. Different builds, OSes, browsers and resolutions make it next to impossible. BrowserStack changes that and allows us to test across a range of configurations semi-automatically. Clients now don't come up with issues months later because of some unusual quirk.
- Live
- Automate
BrowserStack live lets us do cross-browser testing across devices and browsers. Their website scanner feature automates the process for us.
We aren't technical users. Our use-case is simple. We found BrowserStack to be the simplest option to do website testing at scale.
