Overall Satisfaction with Buffer
I use Buffer for scheduling social media - both for my own social channels and for those of clients. Buffer makes it possible to add new content to a "queue" so that I can make sure to send something out even if I don't add a specific date or time (though I can set daily posting times for a sense of control over posting).
- Queue-based social content scheduling.
- Useful analytics data for determining content strategy.
- Reduce the gap between the cost of your lowest-paid plan and business plans with much-improved features.
- Bring back insights about a social account's most impactful posting times.
2 - I use Buffer to add relevant articles to my queue as I see them and also have a contractor who helps me with scheduling content.
- The lowest paid plan offers a lot of bang for the buck.
I've always found Hootsuite's user interface to be a bit clunky when compared to Buffer. I find myself troubleshooting issues more often on Hootsuite, as well. I think that you can connect more accounts and add more posts to Hootsuite at a time but have found Buffer's limits to be sufficient for my needs. Sprout Social starts at a much higher price than Buffer which is why I've never really considered paying for it over Buffer.
