Overall Satisfaction with Camtasia
In short, I use it personally to create content that explains the use of other programs to my students in a private academy. We also advise clients who use it to create content for social networks, email, etc. generating Camtasia 2020 templates for them (and/or projects in old versions). I edit videos for conferences, courses, presentations (currently before Covid-19 they were face-to-face), currently they are presented remotely.
- Multi device fast recording / editing.
- Possibility of organizing media.
- Various output formats.
- Cloud connectivity (I've used Google Drive).
- Media blending mode option (something like image editors do) Multiply, raster, soft light, etc.
- Area to create your own libraries (assuming that we have available custom vectors with company colors).
- More sound effects available: Flanger, Echo, Others.
- Connection to more clouds (currently I only see and have used Google Drive).
- Positive. I bought Camtasia 2020 through the app store, with a promotion for MAC users. I think it's worth a lot more than what I paid for.
I have used others, but I consider that the closest to Camtasia are: Movavi, Filmora, Openshot, iMovie and perhaps DaVinciResolve (although this is something more for the professional sector). Among the others I've used: LumaFusion (Ipad), Kinemaster (Android), Vllo (Android) that could have similar results. Everything focused (like Camtasia) on fast results, intuitive actions, good price / quality ratio. Of all, the one I use the most today is Camtasia, because I focus better on concrete things and not on a wide range of options that I don't really use and only distract me. For some projects I use Final Cut or Adobe Premier (both professional sector)
