Overall Satisfaction with Canva
I use Canva when I need to resize and edit photos for my client's websites. I also use Canva to edit and resize photos for my client's social media profiles. Last, I use Canva for images to include in various marketing materials. Canva solves a number of problems for me. One is that I use a Chromebook, so image editing software is limited. Also, I have very little graphic design skills, so the templates, layouts, fonts, and elements are extremely useful to me.
- I like that I can use filters and alter colors to match any brand that I'm working on.
- I like that I can upload any of my images and edit from within Canva.
- I like that I can download my edited images in a number of formats (.PNG, .JPEG, PDF)
- Within the Elements> Grids, I'd like to see more options for grid layouts.
- It would be nice to be able to create your own "illustrations" so that you're not limited to the ones Canva provides.
- Possibly update the frames section, too. Some of them are outdated and a bit cheesy.
- It has had a positive impact in driving impressions and clicks in my client's social media profiles.
- It is useful when I need to make small edits to images within a website, which helps in the decision to buy.
- It has made it easy to illustrate presentations to potential clients.
I've used Picresize. The problem with that site is all you can do is resize the image. You're not able to edit the image or put your own mark on it. This made creating specifically branded images for my clients extremely difficult until I found Canva. Canva allows me to do all of that and more.

- Very easy to upload your own photos.
- After uploading a photo, it is very easy to add it to an existing template or to create a new layout of your own.
- Very easy to use multiple filters to tweak your images for best appearance.
- There have been times when the whole site is down, causing delays in delivering to my clients.
- For some reason, Canva does not work very well on Windows. It works excellently with Chrome.
Yes - I have not used the mobile interface extensively, but so far it's working very well for me. I can still upload my own images, use templates, edit filters and text; basically every function you have on the full website version. The other good thing about the mobile app is you can upload your edited images directly to the social profile of your choosing.
