Overall Satisfaction with Celonis

Celonis helps me quickly see the health of my OTC process and manage my team of 20+ people without spending an excessive amount of time on reporting. It helps me adjust the existing OTC process to capture the value currently being leaked. We’re talking about potentially significant value, which today is missed as the result of a complex organizational structure and systems used. Celonis, compared to other data visualization tools, provides great process mining capability, but I mainly appreciate the flexibility it offers to users - any filter applied to the visualized data is provided to the user and removes the need for constant engagement with an analyst.
  • Filtering capability - attributes as well as process filters
  • Reasonably easy to learn PQL coding environment
  • Big community of users and good support base (including experience sharing forums)
  • I struggle to come up with one. Out of all the tools I’ve used so far, Celonis is my preferred one.
  • Within my scope, we’re capturing 100k USD in working capital a year by adjusting the process in just 1 destination country. Plus we’re already scaling that up.
  • I modified the portfolio distribution within my Customer Service team that allowed for headcount reduction.
The key difference for me as the user and as an analyst is the ease with which Celonis allowed me to shape the analysis myself. Other tools rely on what an analyst created in hopes that it will serve the purpose to everybody. So many times, however, I find myself stuck, wishing to apply a different angle to my analysis but needing to request IT enhancement, which takes time. Celonis gives me the extra flexibility which I have not yet experienced anywhere else.
Celonis provides us with data on where we stand in our processes and setups. It helps us see an angle that we couldn’t see before - looking at individual events and things like rework frequency. It is strongly supporting our journey of digital transformation.

[Celonis is] certainly well suited for application in an area with a complex yet central base process. In my case, I highly benefit from using Celonis in managing my Order-to-Cash process and a team of 20+ people. I get to quickly see where my team knowingly or unknowingly deviates from the intended optimal process. Traditionally, I would have to spend hours per week on reporting to get this result. With Celonis I not only save this reporting time but I get to do the review more frequently and also manage to set up automatic actions/alerts to prevent the deviations from even happening. The whole scope of Celonis can be huge and thus critical to remember the UX of the end-users in each organization. That’s not directly a Celonis area of influence, but the feedback our users have is that the data we make available for them is overwhelming. I’m sure Celonis can support managing that through some UX-focused training/materials which will, in turn, provide support to data analysts and scientists working with the tool to create something easy to use for a regular user.
