Overall Satisfaction with Celonis
We use it to discover inefficiencies in our business processes. Mainly, we try to find savings opportunities or capture leakage cases. We don't use the automation capabilities yet, because of privacy and security internal regulations.
Pros
- Customize views for less standard processes
- Help agile development to get insights fast
- Handle multiple data sources in the models
Cons
- Variant explorer should look more like the process explorer. The square lines are harder to read. And the variant selector uses too much screen space.
- The amount of customization in a graph in Views is less complete than in Analyses. Specifically regarding more than one line per graph and labels.
- Process and Variant explorer in Safari browser does not work as expected. Labels don't update their position properly and the sliders in process explorer stick to the mouse position even when not holding the mouse button.
- I miss the conformance checker in Views, and the capability to export bpmns based on the process visualization.
- I miss some of the more advanced filters that were available in Analysis, to help business users make complex queries.

- In times of crisis, Celonis helped us identify root causes of clients issues and prioritize them to restore the service in record time.

Celonis material has absolutely helped us achieve our goals. The academy is really good and got us from not knowing the platform to experts in process mining with Celonis. It's great that the courses are separated depending on the role. It helps to optimize the learning for specific people and to generate orchestrated teams to work more efficiently.
It has helped by providing transparency of the digital processes developed. That way, we can monitor and improve data designed processes from the start and act proactively.
