Overall Satisfaction with ChatGPT
I am an Instructional Designer and lms specialist and have a team of forward thinking individuals working with me. We use ChatGPT in various ways including creating content for our newsletter, helping me with coding on Moodle when needed, assisting me with rewriting articles, analyzing data from our lms and loads more. It has helped with ideation and helps save a lot of time. I have even used it to teach me Zulu.
Pros
- I love the images it creates as it is so close to what I'm asking for
- It is able to analyze a large amount of data quickly
- Is able to take complex concepts and explain in simpler terms
Cons
- It doesn't always follow instructions properly even when prompted specifically
- Images with words are generally not spelt correct
- Time outs or too many requests sucks especially since I pay a monthly subscription
- Saves so much time
- Allows me to push my creativity levels to the max
- Challenges my thoughts and biases when asked to
I find the images generator much better in getting what you asked for using ChatGPT. When using Firefly or Midjourney I tend to take the prompt that was generated in ChatGPT in order for me to get something more visually stunning. So the visuals could be much better, room for improvement. The adobe products have their ai embedded within their products which is nice. They have a nice user experience which I think ChatGPT could improve on

The biggest contributing factor in getting ChatGPT approved was the amount of time it saves. You are able to get quick, effective guidance and assistance from ChatGPT, all whilst learning along the way. So time which equals money
I was an early adopter of ChatGPT so I am a big fan. It has made me pretty picky about other solutions. I use Midjourney, Adobe Firefly and ElevenLabs. But when it comes to understanding my request is done better with ChatGPT than any of the others available out there

- Just getting the system to create something based on a request, ChatGPT does it real well. While an appropriate prompt is very helpful, it doesnt always need it.
- I love the DALLE integration - the images are usually spot on
- Getting help with coding when I have no idea
- Searching for previous conversations - only recently got a search function on the web version
- Sometimes following instructions like dont give me a summary - I want the actual content
- When creating images, the spelling of the words is usually wrong
Yes - It works really well. It was the first to get a search funtion to look for a certain conversation you have had before. It also allows for voicenotes. I think it could be tweaked a bit so its functionality and aesthetics - a delicate balance of both
