Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

Cisco AnyConnect is the default VPN used in our organisation. Cisco AnyConnect automatically connects to VPN if it detects I am not on a trusted office network so that I can seamlessly connect to enterprise applications which only work on office network. This helps a lot if I am working remotely from home.

Pros

  • Cisco AnyConnect works in the background and automatically connects to the VPN without any manual intervention as soon as it detects a network change and if the network is not a trusted network, ensure seamless access and higher security while connecting to enterprise applications

Cons

  • Cisco AnyConnect serves its purpose well and is really good at its core functionality of connecting to VPN when not on a trusted network and I face no issues with AnyConnect at all
  • AnyConnect offers a lot of flexibility to employees as it allows users to work remotely and connect to office applications without being on a office network
The UI is very clean and automatically connects without having to open the AnyConnect application .Only some cases where it does not connect you need to open the application and click connect, but the overall user interface is very minimal and exposes menus and buttons relevant to the end user
Yes it has greatly benefitted me and my colleagues to work remotely without having to be physically present in the office and helps me to connect to the official applications directly with the help of the VPN
