Overall Satisfaction with Cisco HyperFlex

We have 3 small Cisco HyperFlex clusters across three data centers. They run select VMs on VMware ESXI hosts.
  • Easy to manage.
  • Reliable storage.
  • Nice integration with UCSM and Intersight.
  • Data Platform Installer issues during setup or expansion.
  • Increased stability over other hyper-converged technologies.
Cisco HyperFlex is easier to manage than other BladeSystem or Hyper-Converged systems. I would say it is in line with Pure Storage Arrays as far as ease of use goes.
Deployment was straight forward if all networks, VLANs, IP Addresses, naming conventions, etc. are decided upon prior to starting the deployment.

Our organization uses both Cisco HyperFlex and Intersight but did not deploy HX from Intersight.
Have had to open several cases during Cisco HyperFlex setup and cluster expansion. Support was able to assist and rectify all issues.
