Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX

We have a full scale deployment of MX devices used to service our whole environments wireless network. It allows us to use modern technology and current security solutions with ease and enables us for fast deployment and expansion. The meraki interface configuration can be limited compared to a more high end cisco solution and may not be as customizable.

  • Low cost enables high density deployments
Ease of deployment allowed us to quickly scale out our wifi network at a low cost and quickly. I spent barely any time with setup and had a solution that was secure.
Duo made it easy for us to use LDAP with 2fa secured wireless logins
Ease to deploy and configure means it's easy to scale a solution for me
Small businesses with not a lot of coverage requirements or lack of experienced IT staffing could easily deploy a meraki MX solution to their environment. Large scale organizations requiring a lot of customization or security requirements are going to find limitations in the ability to control and configure the network MX devices to the expectation they would have for large scale security
