Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX
We use Meraki MX as our firewalls, DHCP servers, site to site VPNs, and client VPNs. The site to site VPN is really easy to set up with minimal effort. We have also attached external 2fa products to the client VPN to add a layer of security when our end users VNP into the network. We have setup several firewall rules to block foreign countries from accessing our network.

- Meraki MX has been reliable, keeping our network up and running.
- The easy setup and configuration changes have caused us less need for high-value IT staff.
- The cost of the devices is relatively cheap compared to a Cisco ASA.
We have had a device get hit by lightning and go down but because of the ease of setup, one of our field techs was able to run a new device to our facility and get them back up and running in a short amount of time.
We have integrated Cisco Meraki MS switches and MR wifi into our MX devices. This has given us visibility into our network from within one dashboard, saving time and money.
I have used Sonicwall and Meraki, and they are very similar and functional, but they go about it in different ways. Meraki is a little more user-friendly with less of a learning curve, but it comes at a little steeper price. I do like the online dashboard of Meraki better, though.
