Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX
We use Cisco Meraki MX and we propose to our customers
Pros
- It is one stop box for small and mid enterprise customers
- It has firewall features
- It has sd-wan features
- It is full fledge utm bundle
- It has lot variants meeting different customer needs
Cons
- All the Meraki firewalls supports only 2 links. This is a major draw back
- A lot of customer takes 2 internet lines and 1 MPLS for redundancy for their DC connectivity. In these cases this will be a bottleneck
- It has a good return on investment
- Simple to setup
- Easy to manage
- Less management overhead
Easy to manage from anywhere. It does not need the person to be available at the site to troubleshoot. Less overhead on IT team.
Easier management and troubleshooting for multiple sites
Cisco Meraki MX is good and easy to setup. But only drawback we see is that it can take more than 2 active wan links.
