Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX

We use Cisco Meraki MX as our main solution for connecting branch offices and securing our network.

It
provides SD-WAN, we use two WAN links that can be configured to run
together as a load balancing or 1 active and other backup, VPN
capabilities also, all managed directly from the cloud.

The deployments are simple and reduces on-site complexity.

Pros

  • Quick and simple setup between branches.
  • Smart traffic routing
  • Cloud Centralized control

Cons

  • Detailed Reports
  • More integrations with third-party tools
  • More policy customization
  • Faster branch deployments
  • Centralized cloud management
  • Scalability allows growth without major infrastructure changes.
  • Limited reporting may require additional tools for deep analysis.
I had greatly benefited from Cisco Meraki MX ease of deployment and management. Branch connectivity can be established in minutes, with configurations applied directly from the cloud dashboard.

This reduces on-site technical effort, lowers operational costs, and allows our IT team to focus more on strategic business initiatives.

Also the thoubleshoot is simple to do.
We use Cisco Webex and Meraki MX brings secure and reliable connectivity for collaboration services. The MX provides optimized routing, and firewall policies that support Webex Meetings and Calling with consistent performance across branch offices.

This integration enhances both productivity and user experience and helped us to achive the bussiness needs.
I would rate Meraki MX scalability as 9 out of 10.

The solution makes it very simple to expand across new departments and branch offices, with centralized cloud management and zero-touch provisioning.

It scales efficiently, licensing costs may limit us, but I think that the adoption is very good and strong for smalls sites.
In the past, I have worked with Cisco Catalyst 2960 switches as part of more traditional network deployments.

Compared to that approach, Meraki MX provides a more modern, cloud-managed solution with simplified deployment and centralized control.

This shift highlights the benefits of scalability, visibility, and reduced our operational complexity and helped a lot in time of thoubleshooting.
