Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

As I work with a consulting company, there are many different clients to manage and communicate with. The current client I am stationed with uses Webex across their whole organization. It allows for easy communication and the sharing of ideas. It helps bring offshore teams in contact with onshore teams and is very convenient in that way.
  • Share your screen and therefore information with any other meeting attendees.
  • Organizes meetings in a convenient way that is visible in the desktop app.
  • It allows users to save information that is relevant and saves me time- i.e. what number to dial in with.
  • It makes it easy for people without a Webex account to get into a meeting.
  • After their recent upgrade, the connection has been laggy at times.
  • When the host is not able to join the Webex meeting, other meeting attendees are unable to share their screen.
  • Allows for multiple meetings to be open at once which can create confusion.
  • Improved communication and clarity of communication always has a positive impact.
  • Meetings start faster due to ease of use - saving time as a positive impact.
  • Negative impact would be there is no alert when a meeting has gone "overtime." It is easy to spend a lot of time in the Webex.
I have never needed to reach out to customer support for Cisco Webex Meetings. There has never been an issue where I felt that I needed additional support. Cannot comment on the vendor's timeliness or swiftness in dissolving issues.
At the client site I am currently working at, there are over 1,000 users across every department. It is used by everybody.
  • Microsoft Outlook
The only program I have integrated Cisco Webex Meetings with is my Outlook application. It was very easy to integrate the two accounts, even for a non-tech savvy person. It allows me to schedule Webex meetings through Outlook, and any meetings that I schedule in the Webex browser or desktop application automatically are synced to my Outlook.
Cisco Webex Meetings is my favorite across all the different web communication applications. I find GoTo and Skype less user-friendly and less used across this company. Cisco Webex makes it easy for non-registered users to join meetings that I set up. It is also easy to call in through the phone or through the computer. I also like the sync of the mobile app for on the go meetings.
For any offshore/onshore communication or even members across the county, Webex is very well-suited to allow video conferencing and sharing of screens. It is less appropriate for meetings that take place in one room, but people still all login to see it on their own screens.

Cisco Webex Experience

Our organization has benefited from Webex's user friendliness because it allows us to seamlessly move between different client meetings without any concern for connecting in this digital age. Knowing that I can send out a Webex meeting to all new clients without considering whether they might not understand how to use this product eliminates any difficulty in setting up calls.
We have not combined our usage of Cisco Webex with any other Cisco products like Jabber. I am sure the suite of products would be beneficial to centralize communications.
Webex meets our company needs immensely in providing a secure and collaborative space for meeting in this pandemic. It is invaluable to have a easy to use space between our team and with our clients that is secure and allows me some flexibility to manage. Being able to quickly mute someone or stop screen sharing can be very important in helping to maintain a smooth discussion without divulging anything that should not be shared.
