Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

We used WebEx Meetings for ad box meetings internally as well as external screen sharing presentations. We also consulted other companies on their WebEx use.
  • Simple to use, easy for even the least tech savvy
  • Recognized brand
  • Good for companies with larger deployments
  • Can be expensive and too many deployment options which are confusing
  • Simple but unspectacular
  • Other options are easier
  • Easy to get behind an industry leader
  • Simple sales presentations bring in more revenue
  • Predictable spend in lieu of usage based charges
Simple and well known, would classify as industry leader but not always as cost effective
Salesforce Lightning Platform (formerly Salesforce App Cloud), Outreach, Slack
I don’t think it’s ever been unavailable when I needed it. It’s pretty predictably safe.
Large deployments are their sweet spot. Everyone gets access to their own meeting rooms and there are packages to scale with predictable spend.
It largely works fine, but in my experience there are competitors that work more seamlessly for most users. Sometimes there is a delay when sharing screens, switching presenters can be a pain, and just the general look and feel seems dated compared to newer, slicker options.
Great for sending invites with meeting details integrated. Simple click to join, and can be customized for specific organizations.
