Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex meetings is currently being used as a complement for our on-premise telepresence deployment.
It resolves the issue of managing a ton of on-prem systems and allows them to easily expand to the cloud without major capital expenditure.
The solution is not widely used by the firm, it is only being used in certain edge cases where Webex meetings is preferred over other solutions like MS Teams or Zoom.
  • Administration is simple.
  • Integration with Cisco Webex kits is seamless and simple.
  • Hybrid integration are possible, making transitioning from on-prem to off-prem a bit less daunting
  • Call quality, it is subpar when I compare it to Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
  • Features wise, it lacks a lot of nice features from other platforms.
  • Licensing is still complex, I would like to have a way to easily purchase and manage my licenses without a 3rd party or a channel partner being involved.
  • I'm starting to migrate my endpoints to the Webex meetings cloud, it works great and it is great value proposition.
  • Great ROI to extend the life of my old endpoints SX20, C series and MX devices.
Usually I would rank it below Zoom and BlueJeans in terms of quality and features.
Cloud offering is great, I don't have anything to complain about.
Easy to scale, there's no dependency on hardware or software.
Security wise I think it is more robust than MS Teams or Zoom. Webex meetings have been around for a while and users are already familiar with the interface and the brand.
I would recommend on green field deployments where all my endpoints and clients can be attached to the cloud.

Cisco Webex Experience

This is great, I don't have complaints about it but I was not aware of some of those features or even how to enable them for the users.
I have combined this with Hybrid calendar and Hybrid calling features using Call Manager.
This works as intended, users can book and manage their own meetings.
