Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Cisco Webex Meetings is used across the whole organization for all audio/web/video conferencing needs.
  • Feature rich
  • Stability
  • Constant innovation over the last 1-2 years
  • Webex Meetings Desktop App performance
  • Slower to market on some features
  • Marketing--seeing other user-driven apps (e.g. Zoom) drive questions
  • Build upon existing investments
  • Solid platform
We have a heavy investment in Cisco voice and were looking for an easy user experience. It made sense to integrate our existing Cisco investments to create a more unified user experience, specifically in the video conference rooms.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

Overall availability has been good. We've experienced some outages. Many of them were during the work from home surge earlier in the spring. Since then there have been only a couple of instances where availability was an issue.
Desktop and mobile-based conferencing are very scalable. Getting conference room hardware to integrate with Webex is very costly and somewhat prohibitive.
My biggest complaint is the Webex Desktop App for Windows 10. It performs very poorly and takes up a lot of system resources. In comparison to competitors (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), their apps seem far more responsive to user input. For example, if I need to leave a meeting, in Webex it can take up to 30 seconds from click to the application closing. In Microsoft Teams, leaving a meeting is instantaneous. Just leaving a meeting is an example of slow responsiveness within the application. There are other examples. Outside of the Desktop app performance, everything else performs reasonably.
Good for companies that already have a heavy investment in Cisco technologies.
