Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Teams
Basically, we replaced Jabber with Cisco Webex Teams about 11 months ago. There have been lots of issues specifically with Cisco Webex Teams on iPhone and Windows Teams as well. All issues have been successfully resolved by TAC. There are some features that still not supported yet, such as search by extension, park call, etc. Users tend to compare features with Jabber. So far, it's been an interesting learning curve for the users and Cisco Webex Teams has been widely adopted by the all users now.
Pros
- Team messaging
- Mobile phones and desktop support
- Able to open TAC cases and collaborate with other Cisco TAC teams
- Calendar integration with Outlook
Cons
- For incoming calls, ring notifications don't work well on iPhone iOS 14.2
- Search by phone extension instead of name
- Call park feature
- Webex presence integration with Cisco Unified Attendant Console Advanced
- Some key features aren't supported when compared to Jabber
- Increased collaboration as we have more accessibility via Cisco Webex Teams on mobile
- Better integration with Outlook
We wanted to upgrade to Cisco Webex Teams because of the collaborative and meeting features as well integration with Outlook.
